Soft closing fund -can still invest via a Platform?

Morning all,
One of my holdings, Hermes Asia ex Japan is soft closing in May and states that only existing investors will be able to top up.
Will this apply to direct investors only or include those who invest via a platform? Normally when funds soft close they disappear on the platform, so wasn't sure if I would have 'access' to top up further?

It may very from platform to platform and fund to fund. I've been able to make one-off contributions to soft closed funds without penalty as an existing holder, but if you want to be really sure you could set up a monthly regular investment as these are usually honoured even if ad hoc top ups aren't.0
