'Shake & Rake' boxes of wildflower seeds

Has anyone used these? Anyone had much luck?

I bought two boxes from my local garden centre to fill some space that we used to use for veg. I only applied them at the beginning of this week so no sign of life yet but has anyone else used them?

I did use a 'shake and rake' pack in my previous garden. My recollection is that a few plant species like cornflower tended to dominate without some thinning out but the overall effect was fine

I wouldn't worry too much about how well they will take after just a week, I planted loads of things last week that have no signs of life yet.

I have used some bee friendly shake and rake packs before and they did really well, that was at my old house and they were great for three years until I moved. They may well still be there.

Thanks, I'm not worried that they haven't taken yet (I'm impatient but not that impatient ) but the actual quality of them when they do.

I've put them in a part of the garden that is predominantly given over to wildlife so if it attracts the bees and butterflies I'll be happy.

I used shake & rake from Lidl, worked fine, obviously some species will dominate after time but the overall effect was fine and continues to be so
