Financial Associate Searches - do credit providers factor them in?

I have one financial associate on my credit report, my DW. I notice her searches now appear on my credit report.

I am generally careful with our searches limiting to about 4 each every 12 months. Jointly we are a bit high at the moment having milked the yorkshire bank current account offer (for which each account seems to have had 2 searches recorded) and I was wondering if now my credit report show not only my searches but also DWs whether some credit issuers might look at both and decide there were too many applications even though individually we are both OK?

What is a financial associate search?

Financial Associate Searches appear on your credit report when someone you are financially linked to has their credit report searched. Because you will appear in their report as a financial association, your credit report is also searched. Financial associate searches are not visible to other banks and financial institutions.
