Snowball Saving Challenge #1 2015

This challenge is a little like the Debt Snowball challenge
where you'd work to pay off your debts starting with the smallest amount
first then working up to paying off the largest.

However, This challenge is about starting from a relatively small savings goal
and working towards a bigger saving goal.

This challenge guidelines
  • Other MSE challenges may be included or counts as long as it is going towards your snowball goal
  • Only post one snowball goal here at a time,so you don't feel panicked and it'll be easier for you to focus.
  • Once you have completed one snowball amount,
tell us and state your next goal (if you have one).
We will change & update it for you.
  • To join, simply state your first snowball amount, your progress so far & deadline if you have one.

To start the challenge
  • Look at your desired saving goal(s)
  • Break them down in smaller chunks
  • Order them Smallest to largest (this will be your "working" order)
  • You may include immediate saving goals such as next month/year
  • You may include a deadline for each snowball
  • Start to save money to reach your smallest saving goal first,
  • Then once the smallest is completed you can work towards the next goal on the list
