Home insurance does "rebuild" cover clearing the land?

Just had a look at the one from TSB and it just says "The rebuilding cost for insurance is £xxxx" hmm

If your sum insured is double the rebuilding cost on the survey, does it matter if it includes site clearance costs?

Just wanted to check i am insuring for enough i do not know if site clearance cost £1 or £50,000 that is all

Budget up to 10% on top of the nominal rebuild value. Less if the house doesn't have asbestos- maybe around 8%

It sounds like the OP is buying bedroom-rated cover after all if it's a set £500k.
