debts not on my file

I have just looked at my credit file but some of my debts are not on could someone tell me why

there are at least 3 different companies that hold files , some don,t list all , who did you use to check?

i have checked checkmyfile and experian

companies may just not report the debts

debts may be too old and have dropped off files

errors

many reasons why this might be the case.

callcredit = noodle , you can sign up for free , the other 2 companies give you one mths free trial , but you must cancel or they charge you

Yes check all 3 direct, check my for is a waste of time. Suspect your default account will be over 6 years old and dropped off.

Actually just the opposite. CMF doesn't have credit account data from Experian.

ok , who do CMF use? the OP has said he checks them and expedian , so who is left to buy a report from?

Check all your addresses are correct on your file, no missing ones etc.

I had an address missing and was only when I added it that the full extent of things showed up.

checkmyfile receive information from both the other agencies (equifax and callcredit).
However it is best to check to go to those agencies direct to obtain copies of your files rather than use cmf, because
-there can be inconsistencies in the cmf data
-if a person has any queries with the data held they'll need to raise it with the source agency
-its cheaper
