Not helpful now I know but my husband bought me the Fitbit Charge from QVC last week when it was a really good price. Worth keeping an eye out for them again. I understand the app but not the functionality of the band itself. Can anyone send me a link for any easy usage guide?

I have a Fitbit charge and I love it. The sleep tracker is handy and so are the silent alarms. It's also great to see who is calling whilst I'm at work by looking at the display as their name comes up.

Also, if you get a Fitbit you can connect it up with Bounts, a reward website, free to sign up and gives you points which can be exchanged for vouchers. I've been a member for two months and I've learnt over £10 for doing my usual amount of activity. If you want, my referral code is * for 100 free points when you sign up, well worth it.

Hi, would you mind PMing me your referral code?

Fit bits seem really gimmicky and !!!!. You can sit on the sofa and shake your arm and it will say you are walking about.

If it was tied to GPS then it would be more appealing to me.

But why would anyone do that? If you're committed to getting fit enough to shell out for an activity tracker then why try to cheat it?
Plus if you're making arm movements vigorous enough to be mistaken for steps you're still exercising, technically :rotfl:

my fitbit charge hr doesnt do that
  • If you have a decent smart phone you don't need an activity tracker.
  • I've got a Misfit Flash. Cheap and cheerful :)

There's a referral code thread here. Use one and add yours to the end :).
