I've had hair loss in the past due to a really bad scalp. It was also a stressful time - finishing uni, moving to London.

My hair hasn't grown back, it's quite thin all over, so I'm looking to try to find ways to help it grow back, if at all possible!

I've improved my diet since then and I eat a lot of the recommended foods for healthy hair. I may try some of the suggestions on here.

Mine is exactly the same. My hair on the sides is thick but right on the front top it's so thin it's more like through road than a parting :-( no idea what to do about it. I was quite sick some time ago and it never recovered. Had blood tested and nothing specific showed up and Dr just shrugged their shoulders basically

My hair on the sides used to be thicker but are getting thinner and the hair on top is really thin at the front and starting to thin at the back! :( I am 20 so this is scary for me lol, my dr mentioned telogen effluvium to me and it does grow back but can take up to 5 years! Luckily my hair has always been extremely thick so the hair loss hasn't left me completely bald - yet! X

my eyelashes have fallen out in the corner part of my eyelid. Thanks xx

Just noticed this and wanted to mention that it can be symptomatic of a thyroid problem. I assume your GP has already checked that but if not, I would ask them to.

I second seeing your GP to rule out any medical reason for your hair loss.

I'm on the forum of the Long Hair Community and they seem to have good results for a caffeine hair rinse to reduce hair loss. (I think they use a caffeine tablet in water leave on the scalp for 5 mins then rinse). I use a version with 2 or 3 green tea bags steeped in hot water then left to cool, I then apply as a rinse. I do this once a week and it helps with lessening the hair shed for me.
