Hi
2 days ago I was cleaning behind my TV. I think I must have knocked something because since then my TiVo box isn't working, there's no lights on it at all and the tivo remote no longer powers my tv on or off.
Anyone know what is wrong with it or is it completely dead?
Thanks x

Don't underestimate the length of time it takes a Tivo box to boot from cold. It can be 10 minutes before it responds.0

Sounds like you might have caught the mains lead.Check the round plug is firmly pushed in the socket in the middle of the back of the unit. Then follow the lead to the oblong component approx. 4"x2" and check that it is pushed in.Finally follow the lead to the 3pin plug, check that it is secure and switched on0

cannot speak specifically for TiVo box, but had similar probs with a freeview+..
unplug box completely (from power and tv), and leave over night. .breathe in, breathe out- You're alive! Everything else is a bonus, right? RIGHT??0 -
I'm sure you have checked this Daisychains but I'd thought I'd mention it anyway. There is an on/off switch on the back of the Tivo which is easy to forget about (easy for me).0

Thanks guys, waited in all day for engineer to come to fix it but never turned up!
I had another look at it and it turns out that the little charger thing (black square box) At the back of it had become unplugged. Feel thick for not noticing it! X0 -
That was the 4"x 2" component I was talking about. Glad that you have got it fixed.0
