Does your employment contract and/or the agreement you signed for your company car allow them to make such deductions? You need to check this, and if not, alert HR.

If such deductions are allowed - for FINES - then you will need to engage with your fleet manager/HR and make them aware that Alphabet are trying to charge you for something that is not a fine or a penalty. You need to tread carefully, though, as this could have an effect on your relationship with your employer. You need to be measured but assertive, not accusatory or all-guns-blazing.

I have an ALD car, but my company uses a variety of lease companies (including Alphabet) ... pretty much all the lease companies don't know the law and how their T&Cs stack up.

I have already made my company aware that any deduction from salary for such an event (invoice) would be challenged and pursued to the full legal extent possible, starting with a formal grievance.
