Did you know crisps can be frozen?!

Oh, it's the Mail, that answers a lot of the questions. The rest are answered by clicking on 'Anucyia Victor for Mailonline'; she seems to be a serial writer of food trivia, most of it presumably equally thoroughly researched. Ha!
No, as mentioned earlier, she simply hasn't grasped the point of having a freezer. And I really doubt that most of her 'facts' are true.
And, with eggs, why 'Remember to note how many eggs you are freezing at a time'? You'll see every time you open the freezer for chrissake.

The issue is not whether something "can" be frozen, it's whether it is at all pleasant to eat after it has been frozen.0

My top tip of the day: Freeze crisps in pairs, with a toothpick between them - Crisp lollies for those hot summer days0

That made me laugh out loud! Thanks!
Actually she did say 'can be eaten straight from the freezer'. Yummy! Frozen crisps! Form an orderly queue folks!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

There are not enough crisps in a bag these days to justify freezing them.
So who would have any left over anyway

Surely if you've opened a pack of crisps and don't want to finish it you'd just fold the top over and maybe clip it shut. Who has enough left over crisps that they need a longer term crisp storage solution? Who doesn't eat up a bag of crisps within a few days?
It's madness!!
I agree - why on earth would you want to freeze crisps?
My freezer is jam-packed with home cooked meals and 'reduced sticker' bargains.
No room for crisps.
And as for this:they can be eaten straight from frozen.0 -

Not sure why you would freeze crisps.
Anyway I know someone who leaves half a packet of crisps around. The other day I was in a car with them off out for the day. And we bought lunch at around 12.30 and two hour later he was just finishing his crisps.
I even had to mention to them. Stop talking and finish your crisps:rotfl:
I wish I could be more like him LOL!!!

Two tubes of the ones in tubes were gone in 24 hours this week plus a box of 30 pkts so why freeze them.
I suppose I could hide them in there DS never goes in the freezer.0
