if the business's leave the gate open all day long and you have to lock the gate to get the key out, wait till they open it, close it, lock it and take the key. sorted0

Demand a key highlight the lease as "the reason"
Inform them if they do not provide a key free of charge they break the terms of your Lease and you shall in no certain terms sue them for each and every time you are hindered by interference with the lease.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
Seems like the are clearly violating your rights according to your lease. It says you have full access over all access roads day and night, and anyone else does too with your permission.
Agreed.
That wording does seem to back up the fact that my understanding of the law is that no-one is allowed to block a ROW.0 -
By the looks of it, the site is owned by an Arms-Length Co. which is in turn, wholly owned by the Council. The site appears to consist of a mix of businesses, Council properties and private properties.
The ALMC appears to have issued some people with keys but not others.
Depending on the time of day you leave for work, i'd be tempted to shut and lock the gate behind me and leave with the key.
This would cause massive inconveiniance for the businesses as they would be locked in until a fellow business with a key unlocked the gate again.
Repeat the same action for several days, and you will then have a good supply of keys to hand-out to those without.
Just make sure that you don't get spotted shutting the gate though.Never Knowingly Understood.
