My Interrailing route – What you think?

Hi guys,

Off round Europe in May / June for 5 weeks, interrailing.

I have never been so stressed about planning anything. I think I am looking into my route too much, and maybe just need to go with the flow?

A lot of people have said I am trying to visit too much.

But thoughts on this route? (I have to start in Barca as my flight is already booked.)

Barcelona >Toulouse (breaks the journey up to Paris? Or is there anywhere else you can recommend?) > Paris > Amsterdam > MISS GERMANY OUT > Prague > Budapest > Austria > ITALY, Venice, Florence, Rome, possibly the Amalfi Coast > Fly home from Italy?
Not sure if that’s the best route geographically? Think that’s the word I mean?
& hopefully that isn’t too much?

When I am actually out there on my travels I may wish to spend longer at certain places? Or less? So my route may change?

have you at any stage looked at a map of Europe and tried to plan a route using it?

All I want is peoples advice, I dont want them to come round Europe with me and hold my hand.

I know I have created threads before with similar query. But its just easier to understand if I create a new thread.

Barcelona to Toulouse is not a good idea. Read the previous comments on your other threads.

I Interailed many years ago and the plan that worked for us was to decide on the unmissable countries/places and plan around that . Take the rest as it comes. I did not get to France (other than passing through) Spain, Portugal or Scandinavia but did spend a week travelling down Italy and up Greece and a few days in each of Holland, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland (one day there as too pricey). My 'must sees' included Pompei , Rome and Venice, Amsterdam and the Rhineland. Only you and your travelling companions know what your priorities are.

EasyJet flights are easily changeable, I'd change this flight to a better starting point.
