WARNING TO PRA & FCA: Friends Life not fit for authorisation to conduct pensions biz

I am sick to the back teeth of this band of pirates.
Every simple query results in a wait for a letter or a callback. And there are lots of queries because of the underhand ways they have been conducting themselves in relation to legacy business and merged business - and amazingly they are in the throes of churning it all again with the "merger" with Aviva.
Should you miss a callback the chain of query is broken.
I have just been waiting on the line yet again to try to speak to the person who left a callback message 2 days after I asked a simple question.
Eventually I got a silly person who wanted me to know that she was part of the overflow team (three times) and didn't even get as far as wanting to know who I was or my policy number.
Why does PRA authorise such rubbish businesses to handle such important long term products?
And why has the merger with Aviva simply been rubber-stamped?

So now we need a twitface account to have a sensible conversation with large organisations.

Why the hell would I want to contact you via Twitter ? Just give us the telephone switchboard number where your board of directors offices can be contacted, please.Sorry you've had problems agarnett, if you can contact us (follow)via @friendslifehelp on twitter we'll get in touch today to help resolve your problem.
And I think you'll find you are in breach of MSE rules by posting as a company representative without prior authorisation.0 -
Twitter is far too simple and effective for dinosaurs :rotfl:The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

... But where are the teeth?Twitter is far too simple and effective for dinosaurs :rotfl:
Last time I checked, no asteroid had hit, and I could still see clearly, move freely and quite potently exercise a general FU MO with regard to low lifes without metamorphosing just yet into any miniature screaming pterodactyl to suit a passing trend!0 -

Nope, as I just said, a group of screaming pterodactyls trending about a bigfoot stomping around in their territory making a noise that upsets their digestion and looking for satisfaction.ffacoffipawb wrote: »That's true, any psychiatrists here?

So who do we think was pulling FLife's strings when he or she posted on 13 April, the same day that Friends Life became part of Aviva ?0
