Argos Store Card

in Credit cards
Morning Everyone,
My brother is moving into a new apartment next month and needs a few things so thought about getting an Argos store card, pay nothing for 6 months.. He has a very good credit rating. Only thing he has ever had on credit is a mobile phone account - no late payments etc, not overdrawn and has a good wage.
So I decided to do his application for him and I think ive messed it up! When you apply online you can only have the items delivered to the account address so I registered his NEW address as the account one when in fact I should have probably used the one where his bank is registered to etc as they wont know him at the new address. So at the end of the application it says they need to do further checks and will let him know within 7-10 days.. Is this probably going to be a decline due to me putting the new address..
Massive blonde moment
Thanks in advance..

Possibly. But at the moment, it's a referral.
On the bright side though, he may well have been declined in any case as he had such a limited credit history, so will be seen as higher risk.0 -
I had a similar thing happen to me when i had just moved.
all they wanted was proof of the new address before it was accepted0
