Overtime and rent excess have bolstered my savings to 4009.00, really pleased to be at 4K, feels a lot more secure.
Get paid in 11 days and have around 450 left so should be ok. Still mortgage and phone bill to pay, but kids back at school after a spendy half term so should manage.
We have been trampolining, soft play, climbing, bowling, arts and crafts sessions run by a local theatre group. We have spent 8 days with friends. It has been a great Easter, my favourite time of the year:D:DHOME

In my quest to use up things in the freezer, fridge before I buy anything else. I have made bolognaise sauce using 15p yellow stickered turkey mine, frozen sweetcorn, carrots, peas, 3 red onions. I reckon it's cost around #1.50. jar of heinz tomato soup.
Hope it will do two meals for five people. Tonight we will have it with pasta 32p.HOME

I've found a buyer for my house:j:j:j
It's actually the original buyer, who has found a first time buyer for hers, so that's us. FTB - house 1 - my house. Not bad as far as some chains go.
Both the houses I like are also empty, anyway not focusing on where I'm going yet, just would like to focus on actually selling my house.
Just booked to go away with a friend and her kids and my kids in August so something to look forward to.
As this house move has been so long in coming, I'd actually gone off the idea, but anyway it will be nice to be MF in a bigger house.
I can't complain but will miss this area, since I've been working part time, I've actually grown to love it again as been able to spend a lot more time within the community and with friends.
Not telling the kids we've sold the house just yet as we've sold it three times before and it is very unsettling for them.HOME

Great news :T:T:TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks all.
So onwards and upwards. Well savings I am happy to report are now at the $5000 level, so that's a good start. I know they will deplete with the house move, a very wise person said they get twitchy below 4000 so I'm pleased with that.

The extra 2000 in savings has come from surplus rent. Some of it will be needed to finalise my tax payments from 2017/18 as I still owe 460 by Jan 2019. It was wishful thinking on my part that the money taken from PAYE would cover it, it almost has, just not quite. :rotfl:HOME

Doing my month end a little early as having a bit of a break.
