You sound like you are getting stronger and I do sympathise as I have been in a similar situation with someone over the last few years who is absolutely no good for my self esteem.Mortgage Dec 2015 - £21545 Apr 2016 - £19930

Had the accountant round this week, but its all got a bit awkward, as found out ex is spying on me. Still not even kissed accountant, but I do like spending time with him. Anyway I was spotted at my local with the accountant a few weeks ago, and ex has now got it into his head that something is going on, I keep reminding him that HE left me a number of times, and told me very nastily to find someone else. Since I've been spending time with accountant, I'm starting to realise how bad for my self esteem ex is. Such as telling everyone he's ditched me, never being allowed to go out with his friends, just generally acting embarrassed to be with me. Ultimately with ex its his way or no way, and I'm finding that its no way these days!
I can see very clearly when it started to go wrong with ex, when I started teaching.
Clarity is a wonderful thing... keep your confidence up... you are clearly a very capable lady.. maybe your ex sees what he's missing... maybe he's a touch jealous as he didn't want you to move on... Don't put those emotional rose coloured specs back on you don't need anyone who makes you feel undervalued.. keep strongMortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20220 -

lost track of last weeks spends but won't be too horrific as had no children so didn't do any supermarket shopping.
Spends so far this week (it's Easter hols for us so all off, but keeping to the budget.)
£48.60 food shop.
£42 petrol.
£9 - day at the park. Succumbed to icecreams and drinks.
£8.80 - went walking in the Yorkshire dales and went to the famous ice cream parlour.
£1.20 - Magazine to read. Spent the morning at a local park, afternoon at school, evening at home.
I'm pleased that three long days out have come in at less than £20 for four that's pretty good!HOME

Just read through your diary...what an inspirational read! I'm also a primary school teacher and single parent. Really interesting to read of your balance between making overpayments/aiming for mf but also living at the same time and making memories with your children.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Expensive week
Food shop for the week £50 included 4 easter eggs.
Night out £19
Day out with friends £33 - included having to buy DD3 a change of clothes when she wet herself and a monthly play pass which will lead to cheaper days in the future.
£24 clarks shoes for DD3.
£6 swimming costume for DD1.
£14 shoes for work for me.
The clothing spends were all essential.
I've done a list of what the girls need for summer just a cardi/jacket each and a pair of sandals and that's it. Will not be sucked into buying anything else.HOME

I'm sat crying over a divan bed base, how utterly ridiculous:(
Despite having a really good day yesterday, I am constantly torn between wanting to live for now, wanting to spend on my home, and really wanting to be mortgage free.
I'm £200 into my 'savings' already, don't get paid for another 6 days, and my student tenant has broken his bed. I've also got the girls half termly bill for dancing and £35 for a show costume to pay before I get paid.
Have been watching that rich house, poor house on the TV, the poor house has been me for the at least seven years and I'm getting sick of it. Going to give myself a kick up the rear and do the school run.HOME
