Strange isn't it that some people can't see past that stuff! I tend to look at the worst places and think 'we could do this, we could do that' hence I think why we got ours for £80k less than next door with very little difference except decor!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

No spend weekend yay!
Did an extra shift at the supermarket today. My sister came over to see us this morning.
Weekly food shopping £42 so far, I've been really good the last three weeks at sticking below £55 so pleased with that, as it includes night time nappies, loo rolls, cleaning stuff, I've even bought new bedding and the odd bit of school uniform with my shopping.HOME

Had a really good day today. Went with a few friends to The Web Adventure park for DD3s birthday. There was 10 kids and four adults so was a good day.
DD2 had a birthday party so had to come a little earlier than we would have liked, but still got 5 hours there so a good day. Not really MSE as spent £45 including birthday gift for party, but had a really good time.
Need to start getting quotes to sort out my house with a view to selling it/renting it.HOME

Good day out at the park. £4.45 spent on drinks/ice cream.
Took the girls' scooters and they had lots of fun scooting around. We were there 5 hours and the temp was 25, practically tropical for up here :rotfl:
Today I have been mostly thinking about giving up work, to make this possible mortgage be gone. Have also decided I need new carpets and double glazing. Aim to get quotes tomorrow.HOME

I have been browsing the ernest wilson business listings, you know the ones that crop up in the metro, ever thought of being your own boss etc etc.
Anyway I was looking at pre school, playgroup, nursery type ones. As I really like teaching early years, just don't like working under the pressure and tyranny of a primary school environment. Anywoo searched for north yorkshire and found one I could kind of afford. (Well not really, but most are hundreds of thousands, this one is less than £50,000.)
Anyhow feeling brave, I decided to send for the details. It is a term time only pre school registered for 16 children, 2-5 years old. (My dream age group.) It's an owner operator (full time) with 3 part time staff.
Anyhow it could have been anywhere as north yorkshire is a big place, it just so happens to be in the village my parents' live in, round the corner from my old primary school. (I'm thinking already of the opportunity for providing before and after school club.)
It's either a coincidence or meant to be:D
