Spent £45 on school photos this week, but two will do as Christmas gifts.
No spend day.
Tomorrow need to buy nappies and wipes.
I'm struggling to get girls up for school, but also struggling to get them to bed, us all sharing a room isn't ideal and isn't helping. Trying staggered bed times. I do have them in bed by half seven, wake them at 7 so they do get enough sleep its just a struggle.
Had a barney with ex, as feel he's stringing me along emotionally although I'm keeping my distance. I've been feeling really sorry for him, but I've found out he's seeing someone so don't feel sorry for him anymore.
I've not kept up with your diary (sorry, I don't manage to keep up with a lot) but why are you and your children all sleeping in one room? Cannot see how that is healthy, to be honest.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5001 -

A couple of months back an ex colleague was looking for somewhere to stay, short term, and as money is very tight, I let her lodge. My room as the master has a large ensuite, so made sense to give that up to a lodger.
Dd3 has her own room and would disturb having anyone in with her. Also her room wouldnt fit a double bed and single in it. Dd1 and 2 always shared and their room accommodates all three beds as it is quite large. So we share it.
We literally just sleep in the room as we are fortunate to have a lot of living space, our house was a self build so is pretty bottom heavy. Kitchen diner, through lounge, playroom, back porch, utility, bathroom downstairs. The bedrooms are also all doubles with two decent bathrooms upstairs. Due to the design there's no box rooms or wasted spaceHOME

No spend day :j
The ex came round with chocolates, very out of character. Not sure what they were in aid of, but he's being super nice at the moment and its quite unnerving.
Had a drama with DD1, she refused to get in the pool at swimming, she's been going over two years, never had an issue like this before. Was really fed up with her.
After a mammoth weekend, uni reunion, shift at the supermarket, church, 35 mile trip to my parents, brunch date - it was a relief to be back at school for a rest:rotfl:HOME

Spending a little out of control for me at the min. Trying to reign it in.
£50 dd1 birthday presents, included practical things like slippers, wellies, books etc.
£50 supermaket shop including two birthday presents for friends.
Have been offered 1% cashback on purchases via my hlifax credit card until Jan so need to get into the habit of using it.
Need to pay £294 to the solicitor to cover fees regarding changing title on house.
On going battle with weeds on my block paved drive.
Quiet on the lodger front.
Have agreed to help run the next messy church, is involving more meetings than I bargained for, but really worthwhile and I'm enjoying it immensely.HOME

My social food spends are up. I'm lucky that I don't feel the urge for takeaways as don't really like them. Went out for a pub lunch today and last week as well.HOME

Had a large party for my DD1 at a local play place today. Thought it was good value as cost £122 for 24 friends. I missed the party as DD3 is unwell, which was a shame but DD1 had a great time.
Went to the Lidl for the first time ever today. Was very impressed £43 spent, hoping it will last at least a week. My last £30 food shop lasted 17 days but we did eat out on top of that.HOME

Update on house front, we got he papers through on Saturday to transfer the house into my sole name. Finally it is happening. £294 land registry fee for the privilege plus solicitors fees, mortgage broker fees on top. So I'm feeling the pinch but really excited. New chapter:j:beer:HOME
