CTF to JISA and cashback, how can I do this successfully?

Hi, there's various companies giving cashback through places like Quidco for creating a new JISA and adding money etc.
We have a CTF I want to transfer, so want to get some cashback also ideally.
As far as I know though you can't have a CTF and JISA active at the same time, so the applying process needs to be done via the Quidco link and applying online at that moment in time to also do the transfer.
I can see some pitfalls with this, as in the applying and transfer of CTF could be classed as 2 steps and separate processes.
Although when applying for a back account you can obviously transfer from another bank, so it may go fine doing the CTF to JISA applying/transfer via the quidco link?
Has anyone done this yet and does it seem to have gone ok? (there's obviously no way to know it'll get paid out for months of course).
Thanks
