I am going to sidmouth next week who can say if they weather will hold out, so want some ideas on how to entertain the kids cheaply.
I went last year and we stayed near the donkey sancutuary so that is one trip sorted, but I want some others up my sleeves any idea.

i know there is an old tramway for families in seaton (not that far). i am sure there are things to do in sidmouth apart from going round the shops and the beach but we found it a bit limited in things to do in the town itself. there was a lovely village just before sidmouth by the coast - not sure if it was something along the lines of Beers or something like that where you can have breakfast/lunch or tea in one of the beach cafes. one of our best moments there. our daughter who is 3 loved picking up all of the stones and finding any shells on the beach there!purplebets wrote: »I am going to sidmouth next week who can say if they weather will hold out, so want some ideas on how to entertain the kids cheaply.
