Selling house via website(s)

Hello,

I am at my wits end with the choice of estate agents in this area so I am thinking of selling privately via websites.

I would be grateful if people could post up websites they know of.

I have done a Google search myself but I want to make sure I cover all the best ones!

Thanks for any suggestions.

I had someone book a viewing when I advertised on Houseladder - but just one person in the month, and although they put an offer on my property, they hadn't sold theirs so it didn't progress any further.

Housenetwork.co.uk is supposed to be the best - as they also advertise on Rightmove for you which I would say is absolutely essential if you want viewings. Houseladder is ok with a sole agency contract, Housenetwork is defined as an agency so make sure if you do go with high street EA's you have a multiple agency contract.

I would go with Housenetwork personally, and if I was to sell again, I would definitely try them before any EA's on the high street - from those I have come across they mostly seem rather slimy commission driven gits!!! (especially the one that attempted to sell our house!!!!)

Don't think Housenetwork advertise on Rightmove, they don't accept private rentals anymore.

My BILs house to let, using house network hit rightmove same day. Yesterday.

House Network is an internet EA, not a private sale website

Eton - you have mentioned this company in almost every post you've made, are you by any chance connected I wonder???!!!!
