No longer need to display MOT disc

As from 1st April we no longer need to display MOT disc on our windscreens. All the more room for bugs and squashed flies. Also, apparently from June sometime we also will no longer need the paper section of our driving licence
I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p

As of October LAST Year, you no longer needed to display a TAX disc. As far as I know, you have NEVER needed to display an MOT disc.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

The law changed on 6 April 2015 - from NI Direct website
New style vehicle test certificate
Following a recent change in legislation, the requirement to display a vehicle test certificate on the windscreen of your vehicle has been removed; therefore a new style vehicle test certificate will be issued. This change takes effect from 06 April 2015 and applies to all vehicle categories, including cars, motorcycles, goods vehicles or buses. Motorists are encouraged to remove all expired discs from the vehicle windscreen.0 -
Question: if you have a disc that's still valid, you don't have to display it either, correct?0

From the 6th no need to display so bin it or keep it whatever you want to doQuestion: if you have a disc that's still valid, you don't have to display it either, correct?
What does this mean for me?
A new style A4 size, plain paper, vehicle test certificate will be issued following the inspection of your vehicle.
To drive or keep a vehicle on the road you still need to have a valid vehicle test certificate if your vehicle requires one, and you will still get a renewal reminder when your annual test is due.
If you have any remaining months left on your current paper disc, you can either remove the disc from your vehicle or display the disc until it expires.~We are all going to hell and guess who Is driving the bus~*Norn Iron club Member 294* (Hi, we’ve had to remove part of your signature. Well, that was well publicised... no more pieces of paper on the windscreen at all. Good.0

I just got my heap through the Mot today. I got an MOT disc on that normal a5 sheet. Why?
Must be a psychological thing for the boys in the MOT centres. Too traumatic to take them away straight away. They'd just take umbridge and fail everyone.0 -
Nice clear windscreens, yay!0

Preprinted paper i guess, and probably hassle for them to remove and bin the other bit.0
