French door replacement cost

Hi,

Looking to know if the following is two high.

I am looking to get new french doors fitted in the lounge. Standard size - 1850 x 2150 mm.

Got a quote from Anglian who quoted £2100, which I think was excessive. Got a quote from a local supplier, who has come back with £1340. The quote is for an A-rated product. I was expected something under a £1000 quid. Was I underestimating the cost?

You can get French doors 600 -800 or even less look on fleabay those sizes that’s without fitting extras shiny handles, better lock, opening in or out, profile, cill etc if its cost buy and fit your own if your not bothered about fensa or pay someone approved if you are to fit them might be a lot harder if there not supplying them.
I don’t think 1340 is high might achieve better price if you shop around miss ordered size etc. Doubt it south, London but midlands north, wales you might

Many thanks for your response. I think it's a pretty fair price too. The company is local as well so would be good to support local businesses. I will go with it.
