#BlueBoxPlease competition
Our Social Media team have created a real life version of our Instant Win Game – £250k Blue, which you can play via Twitter, for the chance to win cash prizes or Scratchcards.

They’ve built a large pyramid of numbered blue boxes (1-100) and each box contains a prize from a £250k blue scratchcard to top prize of £100 in cash, which will be found in 10 boxes containing a giant plastic diamond.

From 1pm today (Thursday 9 April 2015), they are inviting you to play by tweeting #BlueBoxPlease and the number of the box you’d like to be opened.

Winners will be selected at random and if you get lucky, you will see your box opened LIVE on camera by Amy and Rose from our Social Media team to discover what you’ve won!

Terms and Conditions

1. The Play With Us £250K Blue giveaway is run by Camelot UK Lotteries Ltd (“Promoter”) and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Twitter or YouTube. By entering the giveaway, all entrants agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

2. The giveaway is open to UK and Isle of Man residents aged 18 or over with the exception of employees of the Camelot Group of Companies* (“Camelot”), the Gambling Commission, those employees’ immediate families living at the same address, certain contractors of Camelot as well as anyone else professionally connected with the competition (including without limitation Kindred Agency Limited (“Kindred”)).

3. The giveaway will take place between 1.00pm and 7.30pm on Thursday 9th April 2015. During this time, there will be 7 separate giveaways (each a “Giveaway”). Entry for each Giveaway will open on the hour and will close 30 minutes later* (the “Giveaway Period”), i.e. entry into Giveaway 1 will start at 1.00pm and will close at 1.30pm; entry into Giveaway 2 will start at 2.00pm and close at 2.30pm, and so on until the seventh Giveaway for which entry will open at 7.00pm and finish at 7.30pm.

*The time recorded on the Production Manager’s clock will be the time used for determining the start and end time of each Giveaway. The Promoter will use the time shown on the report it runs to identify tweets that include the relevant hashtag once a Giveaway Period has closed, to determine which entries were submitted within the relevant Giveaway Period. The Promoter’s decision on whether an entry has been submitted within the Giveaway Period will be final.

4. To enter a Giveaway, entrants must tweet @TNLUK during a Giveaway Period and that tweet must contain the hashtag #BlueBoxPlease and the number of the box they would like to see opened (e.g. ‘Box 9 #BlueBoxPlease’). Entrants acknowledge that box numbers selected to be opened in a Giveaway will not be available for selection in subsequent Giveaways. Entrants are, therefore, required to check the box numbers available to be selected at the start of each Giveaway Period and should only include an available box number in their tweet. Entrants can check the available numbers by clicking on the link posted by the Promotor which will direct entrants to the live YouTube feed showing the boxes (subject to there not being any technical difficulties). The Promotor will also make clear which numbers are available to be picked at the start of each Giveaway Period.

5. Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will not be valid.

6. Once a Giveaway Period ends, all valid entries into that Giveaway will be entered into a random draw (the “Draw”). The Draw will take place between the Giveaway Period ending and entry into the next Giveaway starting. Each Draw will be supervised by an independent observer.

7. The winners of the first six Giveaways will be the first fifteen winners that have different box numbers selected at random from all valid entries into the Draw for that Giveaway. The winners of the last Giveaway will be the first ten winners that have different box numbers selected at random from all valid entries into that last Draw. For the avoidance of doubt, if two valid entries are selected that include the same box number, the first entry selected in the Draw will be the winning entry.

8. Entrants will only be eligible to win one prize in the Play With Us £250k Blue Live giveaway – if an entrant wins a prize in a Giveaway, any entries into subsequent Giveaways will be discounted.

9. There are 100 prizes available to be won, as set out below:

Ten prizes of £100
Twenty prizes of £50
Thirty prizes of £20
Forty prizes of one National Lottery £250,000 Blue scratchcard
