Printing issue - please help!

Hi all, Ive finally given in trying to google a solution and decided to ask you good people for your help with a printing issue that is driving me to distraction.

I am running windows 7 ultimate 64bit and all of a sudden anything i print is coming out left of centre.

I had a little canon all in one that did it so i plugged in my old lexmark yesterday and thats doing it as well (all drivers are as up to date as possible)

Ive also noticed that if i go to print directly from 'my pictures' the windows print dialogue preview is showing the image over to the left too. I can centre the image manually in photoshop but it still prints out to the left. it does it with all programs like pdf reader, photoshop, office etc.

Ive checked that centre image boxes are checked, margins are all equal etc but to no avail.

this is quite baffling and unfortunately quite important due my needing centred prints of my artwork for my final university assessment!

Does anyone have any advice or input? after trying two different printers and numerous programs to print from i am starting to think this a windows 7 issue....

What if you do a system restore to before the last MS updates? (This won't affect your data).

Thanks bod, yeah I could try that but my system is set to notify me when updates are available, actually thinking about it there are some waiting to go in... Wonder if that's the problem? I'll update it when I get home and see what happens
