not a stupid question and thank you very much! what was happening is was they were hitting my mobile despite me having an outlook filter set up to put them to junk - so reading this I looked into the many many links down there, and figured it

it this works- thanks loads :)

and for the usual "its your fault" you should/would/could crowd - go to hell you negative idiots - I missed something as a human being I've figured why now and this probably solves my problem- all I wanted - you lot miss things too from time to time and nobody is perfect. I was getting sometimes 20 emails a day - & I shouldn't have to defend myself to you savage baying judgemental lot but I'm here now to thank the people with the positive advice. Cheers.

You must feel a bit silly after the hysterical outpouring that was your opening post.

Bit of common-sense and your problem is solved.

The irony is that you opened your post positioning yourself as one of the intelligent ones.

You might not have received the negative responses if you weren't quite so dramatic? ;)
  • The problem with unsubscribe links is they tell a blackhat spammer that the email address is active. So guess what, more spam.

That would be true for actual spammers, but we've established that Eurocarparts are NOT the spammers that the OP first suggested. Therefore, if you don't want the [STRIKE]spam[/STRIKE] marketing emails, clicking 'unsubscribe' is a great idea.

Save money with their carparts4less website.

Keep away from some of their pretend brands though, and always check the main dealer first for a price and ECP can be way more expensive.

I get a couple of emails a week from them when they have special offers. Never ever enough to make me think of unsubscribing or even blocking them.
