Hi is it worth trying to claim.
In the late 90's and early 00's I had a substantial loan with TSB ( around £8000) and a large credit card account with MBNA at about the same ammount.
I really cant remember many details about these and I have no remaining paper work.
Is it worth me trying to claim ? I remember I was sold a loan by the TSB and it was found by the Ombudsman to be not correct and received a small payment back at the time, think it was only a hundred pound or so .
Thanks

I would claim I had acclaim against MBNA upheld by the FSO and received a large cheque from MBNA what have you got to loose contact them and ask if you had PPI, and if you did how you can claim0

Would that be the same if I had a credit card, as I had a credit card with MBNA and a loan with TSB ?
Thanks for your reply0 -
I have spoken to both TSB and MBNA .
TSB are investigating my claim, apparently I had 3 loans with them and certainly had PPI on one of them, they are going to respond soon.
MBNA said that I took a card out with them in March 98 and apparently cancelled my PPI on the card in April 98, so I might be on record to receive the worlds smallest PPI claim back from them :rotfl::rotfl: (does seem strange I cancelled it the next month though !!)
Ill keep you informed if anyone is interested !!0 -

You can cancel the policy within the first 28 days, so that appears to be what you have done.0 -
I had the cards for years, so I must have just cancelled the PPI !0
