Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:
Welcome to Tuesday
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
So, today I will:

- do packed lunches for all
- have a NSD hopefully
- do storecupboard dinner
- not increase my debt in any way
- be positive :j

I'm going to be doing:
- Checked online banking and updated spreadsheets.
- Paying in money from Carboot sale
- Piggyclicks (if there are any)
- Post Amazon sale and package up the ones that came in over night
- Eat my packed lunch
- Aim for a low spend day
- Taking left over junk to charity shop rather then throwing it away (it's been to 2 car boots and no one wanted it!)
- Not increase my debt in anyway (It's going to go DOWN!!!)
Have fun xCurrent debt - £16,300
Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Good grief is it 7th August already? Where is this year going?
Today
-I'm going to start entering competitions (frankly this month every little thing will help.....)
-piggy clicks & surveys
-I may get round to listing those blessed car-parts on e-bay.
-nothing sold on Amazon & no feedback on the 5 I've already sold
so I shall list some more.....
It's not going to be a Low or No Spend Day, we're taking ALL the children & partners out to supper  (the eat as much as you possibly can Chinese Buffet
) But for the first time we're not taking them on holiday, so £90 is better than £1500 I suppose

Should be a no spend day for me, although does stocking up with cough and cold medicine paid for with vouchers count as spending?0

Morning hypno, morning all. Today I have:
- done my finance practice. Doing it for real, I'd have made up to £380.
- done a piggyclick (thanks for reminding me, Lucy 1982!).
- written my list of things I have to do in the diary (its so repetitive for this thread that I'm not posting it, I'm ashamed!).
Off to do the washing up. Have a good day all.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hi Hypo and all,
Today I have hung the washing out as the weather here is lovely, having NSD, taking packed lunch and getting a lift to work so I don't to pay for parking, and tidying in the vegetable patch to see what veg is ready to be picked. hope everyone has a good DFW day, Shell0 -
Hi All

- DF put all the washing on airer instead of T/dryer (no back garden so no line), so it's stiff undies & socks for us!

- fruit from Mr T's bargains (2-melon on bogof & bunch 6 bananas @ 28p)
- put some stuff on Ebay
