Nectar Amex Credit Card annual fee

Just received the new card through the post. I applied for this card to get the 20,000 free points when you spend £2000 on the card in the first three months. (so thats £100 to spend in Sainsburys)

The yearly fee is supposed to be £25, but it is waived in the first year. However, in the application it states that if you already have another American Express card then the fee will not be waived.

So I was expecting a fee of £25 as I already have the Amex Platinum cutback credit card. Thus making the "profit" £75, but still worth it.

It was a pleasant surprise to discover when I got the card today that the yearly fee has still been waived. So I can obtain the full benefit of the 20,000 points.:T

Did anyone else get charged the £25 first year fee because of another Amex card?
