Recommend a budget Tablet please

If I was looking for a new tablet, I too would go for a Hudl2

Which? recommend it as a good value for money budget tablet.

My daughter has a Hudl ( 1) we have had problems with the charger and also had teething problems with the software. ( We bought it when they first came out) However we have had brilliant service from Tesco who have taken it back for repair twice, most recently when it was out of warranty, both times for problems with the charging port ( It charges from the USB port and potentially gets a lot of wear and tear if it is used whilst charging )

I've got a Hudl2 and I'm happy with it as a tablet - I can read email, stream movies to the Chromecast on our tv and use other apps with no problem.


I would be frustrated though if I only had a tablet and not a laptop, because browsing on a tablet I keep coming across web pages that don't work properly.

This is strangely very similar to my problem too.

My old Asus laptop has died and Im looking for some kind of tablet to replace it.
Excactly the same needs as above apart from I dont download films etc, mainly internet browsing and emails.

The Hudl2 sounds perfect but I was looking for something slightly larger, at least 8inches?
