House numbers/signs?

Hey all,

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend an online site that sells nice plaques etc for numbers/names and put whatever house number/name on it for the front of your house? We've just moved into a new house and need to get our house number up (with possibly our name below it), but we didn't like the choices at B&Q. Anything you've found to be good value for money and plenty of variation/styles?

Not sure what styles you want but if you dont mind Glass ones then have a look on amazon. a lot of good reviews there as well.

I got a glass one from a website called Abode House Signs, after reading a lot of good reviews online. The sign is lovely and a lot of people have commented on it! They do quite a few different styles (and you can choose a font and the size/position of the text) and were quite reasonably priced

I have a granite one from ebay.
The slate ones are nice too, etsy have some beautiful personalised ones but they're not cheap.

No specific recommendations, but just make sure it's big and clear enough to be read easily from the road. When an emergency vehicle is looking for your house in the dark you want to make sure they can find it!

Another vote for amazon/eBay. Bought a slate number from an amazon seller, big slab of slate with the house number etched clearly on it, came with lovely looking fixings. Saw something similar in one of the big b&q warehouse for twice the price!
