Bobarella, to try to put a positive spin on this quiet period, thank heavens it is only a two week holiday and use it as a timely reminder to put some plans in place ready for the summer holidays.
At least over the summer people's holidays will be more spread out and people that are usually at work will have time off to cut down on childcare and are bound to be looking for things to entertain the kids.
I'm not sure exactly what your set up is now but maybe you could have, say, story time at whatever would generally be your quietest period. Or something that they could dress up for (mad hatter's tea party?)
Im sure we could all have some fun thinking of ideas and maybe there might be one in there somewhere you could use :rotfl:
My day:
I have withdrawn my offer on the house. Something just didn't feel right, I can't really put my finger on it but every time I see a right move email alert my heart skips a beat in case it's in the roads we really like and then I worry that if it is and if it's with the same agent we won't be able to go to see it. The agent isn't happy with me pulling out but that's just tough, it's my money and all I have in the world money wise so I have to get it right.
Breakfast was porridge from my work store drawer. I bought a sandwich for lunch and DH did the Sainsburys yellow sticker run for dinner tonight.
I've mentioned on one of the other boards on here that my step daughter has been badly let down on a prom dress she ordered online with the company refusing to refund. I get free legal advice at work so called them and explained the situation and they gave me all the right things to quote to the bank in order for her to get a charge back done so she will get her money effectively sucked back out of their account, I'm delighted!
DH has stuck my boots for me again, I'm determined to wear these until flip flop weather (I don't like shoes, it's boots or flip flops for me and nothing in between!)
I have next week off work and I am planning an ebay bonanza! I'm going to blitz the house as if I were moving to the smaller one. We're taking my mum out one day also for her to buy a smallerMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
