Transferring a CTF to a S&S JISA - best options?

I've decided to transfer my daughter's CTF to a S&S JISA (it has just under 10 years to run). I shan't be making any more contributions to it as I only have £10 a month available to contribute, which I suspect is too low a figure. (I will put the £10 in a Halifax 6% regular saver for her instead). There isn't much in her CTF - just over £1.5K. Hopefully a S&S JISA will give her the best return, and if it doesn't it was hardly make or break money anyway.
My first thought was to look at Cavendish Online, but they don't accept transfers. I see HL do. Anyone else? Any recommendations?

Charles Stanley Direct accept transfers (apparently). You need £500 to purchase a new find but can add a minimum of £100 as a lump sum to any funds already purchased, so you could use the annually accrued cash in the Halifax to make a single additional purchase at years end.
I currently pay £20 per month into my daughter's CTF and intend to transfer it to a S&S ISA with Charles Stanley, using the initial transfer to purchase 2 or 3 funds and add £120 twice a year.0 -
Still struggling with this.
I've noticed HL have actually included a from in the brochure I get them from anyway. Tempted to just go with them as I have read no updates from cavendish or fidelity on this.
Also, is it easiest just to put the cash in a 'cash park' and then think about funds? Also, are index funds, such as the Vanguard Life Strategy ones likely to be an option, or are there restrictions?0 -
Whilst I can't give you any advice I will say that I intend to put a large percentage of my daughter's JISA into the Vanguard LS100 fund.Still struggling with this.

Sorry, edited my post now. I meant were they likely to be an option. Didn't know if there might be restrictions on what was on offer. Thanks.0 -
i'm going to transfer my Sons one to HL. mainly as they offer a minimum £25 monthly investment.
VLS 60 for me, about £1k being transferred and £25 a month being added from now until he is 18 hopefully it'll buy him his first car once he can access it!

It appears to be £100.
