Over the past couple of years there have been numerous incidents in the area and its got me thinking about getting CCTV installed at the front covering the driveway and cars.


I've done some searching but there are so many different kits .... well its all a bit too much information!! Can anyone suggest a suitable kit, or give me some advice on what to look out for please?


I'm looking for the following if possible:


reasonably priced
suitable for outdoor use
work at night / low light levels
viewable via wifi on an android device (seen some that will text you when motion is detected)
option to record to an SD card


When it comes to providing power, are they just plugged in or do you need to have them hard wired in some way? None of the ads I've seen tell you this.
