And yet another PTAS clone has popped up, this one calling itself AppealMyTicket.

This company claims to be ICO registered - but the ICO knows nothing about them!

This company claims to have cancelled hundreds of tickets, but has only existed for a month.

And, most importantly, this "Company" has no legal address, no registration number, no ICO number and, as a result, no credibility.

Caveat Emptor, folks.

REPLY ON BEHALF OF APPEAL MY TICKET LIMITED

"Appeal My Ticket Limited is a registered company (number 09536922). It was incorporated at Companies House on 10 April 2015. It was also was registered as a data controller at the ICO's Register of Data Controllers on 14 April 2015."

Buyer beware indeed. I have just been watch a programme about fake iPod chargers killing people.

If Councils spent as much money on Trading Standards Departments as they do on Diversity Co-ordinators we would not be in such a mess.

Sadly predictable. I know that some of the regulars are involved with these companies, but the last 30 years or so of world history should teach us that your enemy's enemy is not necessarily your friend. Did anyone actually expect companies that parasite from the parasites to be a good thing?
  • Apart from one thing - this isn't a company. It's a sole trader lying on his website to make it look like he is a professional.

Parts of the site are hoiked from the PTAS website, parts from Parking Cowboys and parts from PPA. And the emails exchanged have been as illiterate as Kifl's.

There are about 6-7 companies out there claiming to be able to do this. I can endorse two of them, and had involvement in two. I'm suing the other four.

That alone should tell you something.

Appeal My Ticket Ltd. was set up by Tony Taylor, a former "warden" for UKPC. It regularly makes a balls-up of appeals.

Tony Taylor was the sole director, with one Jeanette Davis as the company secretary. Taylor and Davis share a residential address in Wrexham. Interestingly, Taylor and Davis both resigned on 28th March this year, and the company currently has no officers: no directors, no secretary. Confidence inspiring, eh?

Anyone who has paid Appeal My Ticket Ltd. and has had their appeal messed up or not processed may be anxious to contact Taylor and Davis to find out what has happened to their appeal and their money. The company's registered address is merely a maildrop, so you might have more luck here:

Tony Taylor was the UKPC 'whistleblower' as in 'give them sites a good banging' at the Weexham cancer unit at Christmas.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

  • This company has set up a website and do not really identify themselves and promise a lot.
They did not help me and took my £15 money and did not do any work.
when I asked for a return of my funds they stated.

'Section 12. You can at any time during an appeal inform us that you wish to cancel your appeal and pay the charge to the private parking company, We will not be liable to refund any fee'.

'The T&Cs are clear and fair. we will continue with your appeal. however if you want to cancel the appeal and pay the parking company then there is no refund as per out T&Cs'

Companies House identifies them as below:

    Appeal My Ticket Ltd
    09536922 - Incorporated on 10 April 2015
    216 Y-Wern, Wrexham, United Kingdom, LL13 8UB
