Airport hotels - Heathrow. Discount deals/codes/knowledge?

Hi all,

I'm looking to spend one night in an airport near to Heathrow Airport on 15th June 2015 for one night - i'll be leaving very early in the morning. Does anyone know of any current deals on the plush hotels that are at the airport, it would be a great start to the holiday to book one!

Any recommendations from past experience would be great.

Are there any current voucher codes/tricks/anyone in the know who can help me out please?

I regularly stop in Heathrow airports. I'm not too choosy about which one as it's only for one night and they are all much of a muchness so I usually go to http://www.holidayextras.co.uk/ and book one of their "secret" 4* hotels. It's typically, the Crowne Plaza, Park Inn or one of the several Holiday Inns. The deals can be especially good if you include parking.

Thanks for that. If I go for one of the secret hotels, will they all be easy access to T4 do you know?

All Heathrow Terminals are accessible from Heathrow Central area Terminals 1/2/3 via free train link.

I've used Hotwire for a top secret hotel and got the Aurora as well as the ones mentioned above.

No hotels are allowed to operate their own shuttle buses into Heathrow, it's all done by "hoppa" buses operated by National Express which are relatively expensive but very convenient. A little known fact though is that Heathrow Airport subsidise London Buses so that bus journeys on service buses within the designated airport boundary are free for everyone. This includes nearly all hotels on the Bath Road.

Yes, the free local bus transfers is one Heathrow's best kept secrets. The hotels go out of their way to push the Hoppa service when there is often a 24 hour free alternative on their doorstep. The Hoppa service is around £4.50 each way per person so if there are two or more of you and you have a lot of luggage it can be cheaper and easier to take a taxi.

Recently got the Park Inn + 8 days parking for £69 (then got about 10% cash back through Quidco) but it depends on when you are booking for. I would just play around with a few dates to see what the typical prices are and compare with the rates of the named hotels.

I tend also to only book a week or two in advance. There are so many hotels at Heathrow that there are always rooms available somewhere.
