G Tech Air ram - Smelly Filter

Hi
Now had this machine for over a year, in which time it has replaced the old Dyson for most daily/weekly cleaning.
Without fail i clean the filters on first Sunday of the month and then hang them to dry.Trouble is the whole room where they have been drying stinks and its the filters!

Thinking of buying some new ones from Gtech £14.99.
But wondered what people use to wash the filters with... have only ever used water.

Thanks

Is it as good as it appears on the TV? Do you have the upright and the hand held one or just the upright? Can you do stairs with the upright only? Thanks for the info, I am thinking of buying one.

Andy look at the reviews on Amazon. Some people are complaining about the 30 min battery not lasting that time.
I just think they are over priced for what they are so i am sticking to my upright Sebo which i would never part with.

We have both the upright and the handheld one [oh is a gadget freak] The upright one is no good for stairs or edges for that matter, the hand held one picks up the slack but I personally would rather have a decent upright with a hose !

    Hi
Thanks for replies. We only have the upright

The dyson was a pain, dragging the cables around and easily took over an hour to do the house properly. With the gtech less 30mins. But now so easy to use house gets done twice a week and main rooms sometimes daily.
Yes stairs u can't do but have a small handheld for that.
