What to do with teenagers?

Options
Next week I'm having 4 teenagers, 12 - 16 coming to stay and I can't think of the type of activities that might interest them. They live in a busy city and I live in the country so I don't want to have to go to a city unless I have to. I'd like them to experience something rural and different. Can anyone suggest any country-style days out I might take them to? I live in the north/east midlands but happy to travel. I feel as though I've done the caves/adventure parks etc, and anyway they're too old now. Or think they are.

The girls seem to love shopping and facebook, the boys screen games. I'd rather try to limit screen based stuff if I can. I thought of camping but it turns out some of them do that in the summer with their parents so not that excited by it!!

Thanks

My teens now aged 13 and 17 who live in the city have enjoyed holidays in my parents home in the countryside of Ireland. Some of our family have working farms and they really enjoyed helping with hay, tractor rides, cutting turf in the bog, milking cows, watching sheep dogs round up the sheep, feeding the animals, digging up vegetables, going to a sheep and cattle market, visting a blacksmiths, hill walking. We don't have dogs so neighbours sheep dogs are a great source of entertainment. My aunt also has horses and donkeys so they enjoyed been led around on them. They liked historical sites they visited or having lunch in a thatched cottage. Things you probably take for granted will probably appeal to them as different to what they are generally used to.

Any falconry places nearby? They might find going to one of those and getting to hold an owl or something, fun.
