Have searched for this already but didn't find it so if this is a repeat I apologise.
Got a leaflet through the post for Tesco Life Insurance - Get a quote between 20/6 & 14/8 & buy the policy & get a cheque for 25% of the first years premium (in month 3 or 4 I think). Tel no is 0845 300 6222
Current joint Life insurance is £13.26 a month, Tesco quoted £13.42 but the cashback makes it £10.09 a month. Had a brainwave when taking out the quote & asked the advisor if I could have the Tesco price promise 1000 clubcard points for finding a cheaper policy as my current policy is 20p a mth cheaper for the exact equivalent, and he added the points straight away. Will take a little whileto go on though I assume.
I make that a monthly equivalent of £9.26 a month if points redeemed in store or £6.76 if points redeemed for deals!!!!!
I double checked the terms & was definitely told that that the quote only needs to be done by 14/8 to get the points & not that paperwork had to be back by then. Not sure about buying the policy after that date but don't see why not if within the quote validity date.
