Budget is probably too low for half term week, the week before more likely.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Fuertaventura.
Avoid weekend flights.0 -
Again doubt it's in budget, but Cyprus was always good to us in October half term.
But for £150 i think it'll be more like Barcelona or possibly Majorca that will be in budget - we did Majorca one half term, and it was OK, not great.0 -
We just did Barcelona and had a lovely time. Maybe again in late Oct though, weather may need to be kind.
Considered Pisa and Rome, but weather could deter.
Thought about the Canaries and had a butchers last night (for Tenerife) though I couldnt see anything direct in quick search. Will do again tonight. Alicante or Valencia?
Prefer to spend budget on hotel and food.
I know better deals (all inclusive) further afield in say Turkey or North Africa, but slight aversion to visiting there. Anyone been there of late and recommend?
Somewhere with Beach and within 1 hr of a town or city would be ideal."enough is a feast"...old Buddist proverb0 -
It can be good in Italy, but it is a chance. We have had some great weather here in October and we are only 2 hrs from Rome.
If you look at the forecasts, they are usually pretty accurate, but do not know how long you need to book in advance. As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
