Can anyone tell me where I can sell Tesco shares, which I hold in certificate form for a reasonable price online. I would rather not have to change them to non certificated shares first but realise I will have to send the certificates and fill in a crest form after the sale.
Thanks in advance

Changing the share certificate into a non certificated form would be cheaper - and may be your only option if you want to sell them online.
Have a look at the service offered by http://www.sellmysharecertificates.com/ - and the comparison chart near the bottom of the page.
Some of the firms listed there will sell your paper shares and then wait for you to send in your certificate, others (including that site) will sell your shares but only after they receive your share certificate.

I don't know if you can do it online, but you can do it by phone:

(obviously more expensive than changing to non-certificated form first)0
