The Vehicle Control Services PCN does quote a vat number
ArthurBREXIT OOPS0 -
But is it the correct one?
And does the invoice break down the vat?0 -
Just got the ticket---nothing else
Are you sure this "not quoting vat" is a viable argument for winning an appeal or to use at a court as a defence!!!

It can be - no VAT means it's damages, which must be a GPEOL. If they try and claim it's a service charge but without VAT, it lands them in a lot of trouble with HRMC for tax evasion.0

Use it, as Tesco says, "every little helps"You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

So people are pinning their hopes of , getting a ticket cancelled/a judge dismissing the case/appeal being upheld, because the invoice does not correctly breakdown the vat element of the pcn. Has this happened?
Seems a slim chance to me

No one is saying that it is a silver bullet, just another link in the chain. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
