Reasonable amount to offer after CCJ awarded and Attachment threatened ?

I am just trying to stave off further action from four CCJs that Mortimer Clarke have rushed through on statue barred (over 7 years) debts. One has got an attachment to earnings "Notice of Application for Attachment of Earnings Order" so I need to write to the court and ask to pay direct but clearly should be a reasonable amount as I wil have trouble at work if they do attach. And three others that are written further to the blue claim forms etc. that I stupidly did not deal with thinking it would nt matter as they are over 7 years old, and being a particularly bad place at the time, I need to write to them to make an offer of payment in installments as I am working with Step Change to do a Debt Relief Order but obviously that will take awhile.
Any ideas what would be the least I could offer to stop further action for a while ? I really need to minimise my stress as I am suffering from a new chronic illness and all this is not helping.
Any advise would be most appreciated.

Explain "rushed through" + 7 years old.
Did you receive court claim forms and if so what did you do ?
You may be able to get them overturned and pay nothing.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
I did receive the court claims but then my daughter lost twins and I missed the deadline to tell them they were statute barred. I got the claims within a couple of weeks of me contesting that the debts listed on my noddle report were statute barred. These debts are into the 7th year. Would nt it be better to offer payment as little as they would accept to hold off action until I can get the DRO through, I really dont want my employer knowing about this.0

When you say the debts are 7+ years old, do you mean you have neither acknowledged you owe the money nor made any payments, no matter how small in respect of those debts over that entire period?
If so, you could look into applying to the courts to have the CCJ's "set aside" but you would need a good reason for doing so and no doubt would need to vigorously defend your inability to respond before the deadline. National Debtline could give you better advice in relation to dealing with your CCJ'S.Original Total: £34200.78 / Current Total: £24017.00 (July 2017) -29.88%!

The OP has numerous CCJ's so getting each one overturned would prove to be an expensive option, with no guarantee of success.
Rainbow, suggest you expedite your dealings with stepchange, and find out the timeframe for your DRO to become live, making offers of payment now could confuse the situation further.

You should not be making payment to your creditors in the lead-up to a DRO
Why should a DRO take a long time? If you have a current Experian report, full list of debts and £90 an intermediary could do an application there and then.
It's certainly much faster than a creditor could get an attachment to earnings.0
