after doing several clean up's my tool bar has become transparent but i do not want it to look see through.
Im using windows 8.1 and searched the internet but there seems to be lots of different solutions which are beyond me.
Anyone know a simple process to make the tool bar bold rather than see through

All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

Do you mean the Task Bar (usually) at the bottom of your screen? If so then see through or rather transparency is the default behaviour in Win 8.1.
Third party skins such are Stardock's Windowblinds will have a solution.
