Sounds like they are dealing with it so insurance wise you should be okay, they'll sort you out one way or the other.

Don't kick yourself too hard - an expensive lesson, but nobody was hurt so just move on and learn from your mistake.

sounds like they want you to take it to the garage for its estimate then they'll decide if its worth it or not

I will do, it'll probably be Tuesday when I hear what's going to happen. I've had a lot of rotten luck in the last few years, I'm holding on to a tiny bit of hope that this might go the way I want it to, but as most people have said on here, it's highly unlikely.
