Hey all,
Looking though some old records I had cards with the above three taken out around 10yrs ago.
Barclay Card is still live, Egg & Morgan Stanley killed ages ago.
It looks like Egg & MS are now part of B'clays, is that correct?
If so, how about I approach it? write to B'clays about all 3 in the same letter?
I have old MS statements showing protection payments, nothing for egg, but 2 of their letters with references on.
Many thanks!

Egg cards seem to go to Canada Square
http://www.citibank.co.uk/personals/cards/cards/feedback/egg.htm
That said, Barclays' PPI complaint form also mentions Egg! Morgan Stanley seems to be Barclays too based on older topics on this forum that I found using the forum search tool - might depend when you took it out, if/when it was closed etc - do note if the account was closed before they bought them, there is a good chance the new owner will have no record of you so if you have no records of your own the complaint will be over
http://ask.barclays.co.uk/resources/barclays/loans_credit/ppi_questionnaireSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Barclays acquired the Egg credit card assets in 2011. Liability for pre-2011 PPI mis-sales would therefore lie with Canada Square...Morgan Stanley seems to be Barclays too based on older topics on this forum that I found using the forum search tool - might depend when you took it out, if/when it was closed etc - do note if the account was closed before they bought them, there is a good chance the new owner will have no record of you so if you have no records of your own the complaint will be over....
Morgan Stanley demerged their credit card operation as Discover in 2007. Discover certainly sold its UK credit card business to Barclays in 2008.0 -
OK great - thanks all.
So I go to Barclays for MS and Barclay card, and I go to Canada Square for Egg.
Cheers!0
