Free Music download?

Where can I download and keep songs for FREE?
I have been told of this site Mp3 rocket 6.4 but I thought I would ask on here first as I don't want virus's and would rather pay.
Even something like filmous.com but for music that has offers on would do

By the sounds of things you want popular, current music, and you'll be hard-pressed to find somewhere where you can legally download and keep this music for free.

There is plenty of free music on sites such as http://noisetrade.com/ http://mp3.com/ and http://freemusicarchive.org/ though I doubt these are what you are after.

Spotify allows you to stream music for free, as does YouTube. iTunes will regularly give out free tracks, though you have no choice over which.

P.s. Filmous isn't legal either.

MP3 Rocket is not legal just like filmous.com .
Current modern popular is rarely free .
Lots of sites sell legal music to keep Amazon Google Music etc .

Have you tried on-demand streaming services like Spotify or Grooveshark? Personally, I've pretty much stopped buying music and just stream on-demand when I want to, whether it's the latest releases or something more obscure or older.

Being paid-for does not make it legal.

If you don't know what your doing, then don't do it, this could land you in hot water, either with a nasty virus or with legal action for copyright infringement.

These days, where the internet has been censored, filtered and is gradually becoming a state controlled media, you really have to be careful.

Me for example, as of 3 months ago I connect to the internet via a premium VPN service to hide my identity. All my data is encrypted and completely untraceable, even my ISP cannot see what i'm doing, I can look like I live in Mexico at the touch of button and best of all, no filtering, no blocked websites and no censorship.

Basically unless your willing to buy back your privacy and are technically able to protect yourself online, then you'd best be a good little boy, because big brother is watching you.

That site does not provide legal downloads either.
