As others have said - points are converted into vouchers (it's the vouchers you spend) four times a year - February, May, August and November. You are likely to get additional promotional coupons for certain products.

You said you have 'thousands' of points, how long have you had that many, did you get any vouchers in February?
I just wonder that maybe - you've moved, and you've not told Clubcard - they need an up-to-date address to send the vouchers!

Also, if you shop in Tesco and drive, keep an eye on your receipt it will show your 'fuel save' amount - it disappears if not used!

    Hi culpepper

Hope you don't mind but just thought I'd stop by and let you know the way we handle Tesco Clubcard points changed quite a while ago. They're still available but customers now have a choice between taking Tesco Clubcard points or High Street Shopping Vouchers.

Now, customers need to opt in to receive E.ON Reward points. They can do this online or by phone. Once signed up and either on a current dual fuel or electric only tariff, they'll receive 1500 points each year. They build up daily and show on bills on a monthly basis. These can be exchanged for either 1500 Clubcard points (possibly worth up to £60 with Clubcard Boost) or £15 worth of shopping vouchers. As you say, there's more information on our website.

Hope this is of interest culpepper.

  • Hi Malc

You'll have an idea of just how many points I have - I've got over 2,000.

Is there a way to swop those points now for High Street vouchers?

(NB: I shall certainly ring E-on and request that that is how things are in the future - so just want to be able to do a swop on the ones I currently have).

Absolutely moneyistooshorttomention. If you log into your E.ON online account and choose 'Exchange your E.ON Reward Points' on the first page, you'll go to the Rewards section. This will tell you how many points you have and gives the option of swapping them for Clubcard points or shopping vouchers. Please choose the latter.

You can exchange points for shopping vouchers in blocks of 500 (there's no minimum amount needed to exchange for Tesco Clubcard points). Each block is worth £5. We'll send you Bonusbond vouchers through the post within 3 weeks of the request. These can be used in over 18,000 UK outlets and expire 2 years from the date they're issued. The E.ON Reward points also need to be exchanged within 2 years of receiving them.

    Hope this helps moneyistooshorttomention.

If you currently have 2,000 Tesco Clubcard points - you can't convert them back to E.on Reward points. Though, yes in future you can have them in a different format next time if you wish.
Clubcard vouchers will be due out in early May, giving you at least £20.00 in vouchers - to use in-store.
Have a look on www.tesco.com/clubcard and then Boost where there will be options where that could be worth £60.00 - £80.00 .
