New York

Looking to book a 5 night break to New York, but don't know where to start. So much choice.

Can anyone recommend good websites to book with. Best value not necessarily the cheapest.

Also anyone's own personal experiences. areas to stay things to do etc

Any info would be great

    all about new york

i personally always book through expedia, after checking other sites to ensure they are the cheapest, dont forget you can get cashback for the booking from topcashback or quidco, and nectar points too.

as far as areas to stay in and things to do given that no one knows you and what you are into its a "how long is a piece of string question"

As other posters have advised there is a wealth of information on the threads mentioned, however, we have just come back from a 6 night stay and would thoroughly recommend the Hyatt Times Square. Hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from Times Square on West 45th Street, despite being so close you don't get very much noise but if possible ask for a higher floor, I believe that there are 53 floors that have bedrooms. All booked through Expedia and flights with Virgin Atlantic from Heathrow.

I booked our flights with flythomascook and got a real good deal £299 each.
then I went to tripadvisor and I booked a nice 4* affinia shelbourne hotel.
It takes a bit of research but it's well worth it, we go in june can't wait.
